Moons of Madness is a first person horror-adventure title that launched on PC in October 2019 and then on consoles in March 2020. As lead designer, I was responsible for project conceptualization and was involved in every aspect of development, from pre-production to launch.

Conceptualization
Responsible for project conceptualization and writing the GDD.
Performed market research.
Pitched core concepts such as narrative, mechanics and project scope.
Communicated with department heads for feedback and input on ideas.
Planned features for both the vertical slice, the full game and an unreleased DLC.
Pre-Production
Did paper design for the vertical slice levels.
Worked closely with the writer on plot, narrative design, and dialogue.
Worked with Creative Director to schedule milestones and delegate initial tasks.
Directed artists on mood boarding and worked with art director to ensure that the art direction fit with the vision.
Production
Worked with all departments to give feedback and direction.
Early prototyping, writing, blueprint scripting, game balancing, and QA.
Directed design team and developed levels, gameplay mechanics and implemented player feedback systems.
Attended various events to meet with publishers and pitch the game. Also attended industry events to promote the product and interview with journalists for game previews.
Post-Production
Helped with post-release bug fixes as well as planning and leading the design of additional content.
